From WordPress frustration to our own agency
Developly was founded after nearly a decade in the web industry — including several years at large agencies building in WordPress. It worked, but rarely well. Sites were heavy, hard to maintain, and built on compromises no one questioned.
We wanted to do things differently. Today, we build exclusively with Next.js and Strapi — a stack that delivers faster websites, a better developer experience, and solutions that actually hold up over time.

Developly didn’t start as a big launch — it started as a conviction. After years of building in WordPress and seeing the same problems repeat, we decided there had to be a better way to run an agency that actually delivers on what it promises.
We tested, failed, learned, and tried again. Over time, we found the right stack, the right way of working, and the right clients. Today, we’ve worked with everything from local service businesses to international platforms — and we’re still growing.

Frequently Asked Questions
How much does a website cost?
We offer two models. Subscription: from 250 to 950 €/month depending on scope, including hosting, support, and updates. Fixed price: typically between 2 500 and 6 000 € for a complete website. We’ll always go through what fits best after an initial call.
How long does a project take?
A simpler website usually takes 2–4 weeks. Larger projects with custom functionality can take 2–3 months. We always set a clear timeline from the start.
Why not WordPress?
WordPress works, but it comes with trade-offs — heavy code, plugin dependencies, and security risks. We build with Next.js and Strapi, which results in faster websites, better SEO, and a codebase that holds up long term.
Can I edit the content myself?
Yes. All our websites come with Strapi as the CMS. You can update text, images, and pages without needing to contact us.
What happens after launch?
We don’t disappear just because the site is live. We offer ongoing support, hosting, and further development — but you’re never locked in. The code is yours.
Do you work with companies outside Malmö?
Yes, we work remotely with clients across Europe and beyond. Everything is handled digitally — meetings, delivery, support. Your location doesn’t matter.
